Its a j-spec 93, so MOT time i won't need the cat back in .... there's already a boost gauge on there... so saved some money there:eyebrows:

Ok Guys, ive searched through the forums and i've sort of got an idea on what i need for my BPU. 1) Taking out both cats so i'm going for a 3" straight through one piece exhaust system (from turbos) 2) Walbro GSS342 fuel pump 3) Thor FCD 4) Colder Plugs 5) restrictor ring I do not really want to fit a restrictor ring so is there a boost controller out there that allows you to lower the boost?? As it might be awkward to put in a ring with the straight through one piece system. Thanks

IMHO it al depends on your local police force the last few cars i've had have been tinted at the front and i've had no problems... but then again they might get arsey with the supe:blink: btw MRX what make of tint have you got on?

Thinking of tinting the supe, can anyone recoomend a brand of tints to use?? i've heard of luminar but can not find their contact details:search:

No.... but some times when i release the throttle i do here a noise which i think might be the turbos stalling yeah i'll be sorting out the piping and putting in an aftermarket bov in the next couple of weeks. Im pretty sure the other pipe is for the boost gauge.

Added some pictures of the pipe and where it goes, dont know if it will help? God knows why there are so many cable ties?? bought the car like that so:search: but any suggestions would be good.

I'll have to check where that hose is going.... but i've posted a couple of extra pics if it helps:blink: oooh and the question i was answering was James's, i followed the pipe and it's just tucked up in the wing with a cap on the end of it. so i guess there's no bov??

Just checked the hose and its been capped off, ummmm so whats the benefit of doing that?

I got one manual for the car and another book which looks like a maintenance one. I've also got a few sheets which show the service that has been done but i have'nt got it translated. ps... both books have got funky cartoonie type pictures in them

No problems for me at the moment, even tho i got a stock tt. im just tip toe'in around... cant say that about a mate who had a bit of an incident with his R32

Sorry for bringing up an old thread ... ive got a tt auto and my mates just bought a R32. well now the race is on...mines basically a stock supra just been lowered.... and he's just got a decat. Just wanna know if theres any point of me racing him (drag) at this time or will he have the edge cause of the decat??

Hi guys Need to Insure the supe and a 2nd car... is there any insurance companies out there that allow you to have your no claims bonus on 2 cars? Btw the policy holder has 9yrs no claims so they can be split!? or failing that are there any companies that give a very good discount for having 2 cars in the policy?
