  1. I wanted around £500 for mine also, ( 20% of cost new ) so if you can get one for £200 !!!!!, i should go for that one as that seems real cheap to me. Im not sure on the wiring but would think you'd have to make up your own loom with switch to suit !! Regards Andrew(dunk)Shaw Black uk mk4 tt + hks goodies
  2. There very expensive as well !!!! All the bits inc the motor would come to over £2500 inc vat from Toyota. You could get yourself a blitz front bumper for just over a £1000 Or if you really want the front splitter i'll sell you mine !!! or try the breakers yards. 3. Im based in south b'ham and Bournes powder coaters did mine for £80 all in for 4 stock 17" rims, exellent finish and would appear to be very cheap as well. If its any use to anyone there number is 0121 666 6595. Think the split rims are a totally differant proposition though espiecally if there leaking, youll need to have them split and re sealed, how bad is the scuffing you mention ? I got a bodyshop orbital sander and just carefully went round the outer edge of the rims until all the scuffing had gone, i started with a course 180 grit pad and finished off with a fine 800 grit pad, now there done you wouldnt know they had ever been scuffed. 4. My uk tt auto's done just under 85000 miles now and has no clonks when putting it into gear from cold so i'd guess as others have said check the fluid level or get some one that knows about them to have a look at it. Regards Andrew(dunk)Shaw
  5. I have a Bomex front bumper on my mkiv supra [f n f type] Regards Andrew[dunk]Shaw
  6. Hi My brothers company are a Supachip Agent They have very good race car technicians there, Tom Shepard is the guy you need to speak to, he's been in motorsport for 20+ years preparing and racing all sorts of cars from FF1600 to Le Mans cars. They also have an engine dyno and machine shop. Think the supra tt costs approx £500 inc vat and you have a 7 day money back option if not completely satisfied. Regards Andrew[dunk]Shaw
  7. Thanks Darrell, Just thought i'd ask before i start swearing and throwing hammers around the workshop. Regards Andrew dunk Shaw
  8. Can anyone tell me how you get the rear wing off a uk mkiv. Am i right in thinking that there bolted on as well as a double sided sticky pad. Regards Andrew [dunk] Shaw
  9. I have a uk tt auto and must admit, the worst thing on the car is the Traction control When i had my 1st uk mkiv supra it got me in more trouble than it stopped. The 1st time mine cut in i thought i'd blown the motor up or something as it just went dead but with no red warning lights, had me worried for a while. Mine just feels like someones turned the motor off and it seems to take forever to give you some power back. Gets turned off now whether its wet or dry. Shame as it lets the car down and im sure those electrical wizards at Toyota could have done a better job with the standard Traction system. Im actually amazed that they didnt get the stock system to work better than it does. Its supposed to be a driver come safety aid but i think its actually less safe to drive with it on. In Toyota's defence at least they gave us a switch so we can turn it on or off, so me thinks they must have know from the begining it was a load of s**t. Regards Andrew[dunk]Shaw
