  1. Ive made my own fabricated airbox which is a sealed unit, at the moment it has one 3" diameter inlet which comes in through the inner wing and routed up to the front bumper with flexi hose, i was considering having a second inlet just like the stock one which comes in under the headlight. Just to add, ive done away with the stock top inlet above the radiator. My problem is will i get enough air in through just the 3" inlet or do you think i should go for a second in through under the headlamp. If i worked out the surface area of both the stock inlets do you think as long as i get a similar surface area with my inlets it'll be ok.
  2. Right guys, can i have your thoughts on this please. Can you have too much air pressure or volume of air in the airbox ?
  3. You'll need some wheelie bars See you all there, fingers are crossed for nice hot sunny day and sod the hp loss.
  4. Welcome to the club. There is a midlands meet venue just up the road from you at the Bubble Inn in Stenson, so maybe see you there in the future.
  5. Sorry Tom but you just know you want a set, just so happens i have a set ready to be polished. Could be with you and on your car in under 2wks
  6. Jubilee clips just aren't up to the job on the bigger diameter stuff, got myself some proper st/st hose clamps coming for mine.
  7. See you guys there. I just hope the strip has a lot more grip this time.
  8. Stone him for even asking,,, Jehova, Jehova, bag of gravel and a beard pls.
  9. JPS is Leon, he's your man for service wrk or mod wrk, just speak to him and you'll be sorted. So how much did you pay for your uk car ????
  10. Just thought i'd ask,,, if you put a proper wing on the back of the mk4 which did actually create downforce, wouldn't this possibly have a bad effect on the front end ? as in the car would have the rear axle getting x amount of downforce thus lifting the front end up.
  11. The JGTC supras also have flat bottoms which helps suckem to the tarmac. ground effects car !!! Theres a guy near me with a Reliant kitten who's stuck a wing on the roof and he swears by it. Ive never laughed so much in my life. If i see it about i'll try n get a pickie of it, pure class
  12. Do we still make cars here:D you mean a car that is a uk spec vehicle but not nessercarily made here ? Have you got any quotes for the mk4 na import ?
  13. The UK only got 2 options with the mk4,,,, Auto and manual and both twin turbo. Both only with leather as well i think. Na's are all imports.
  14. Its your decision ofcourse, but aren't you going to have serious problems with your tyres hitting the arch's when your suspension moves up and down.
  15. Im not 100% on this but i thought dave was the boss of WM, thats the impression i got when i went there. He's a very well paid member of staff then as he's had a supra mk4 followed by a 355 so ive been told by m8's that also have been there and luckily walked away with similar opinions to my own. I think at some point your going to have to go there with someone to help you keep a record of what is said, take a note of your statuary rights with you, tell him you want your money back and take it from there, then if they still play hard ball i'd get in touch with your solicitor give him all the facts and 1 decent letter from them should see you sorted. I almost got stitched up by a main dealer once on a £48,000 car, it got sorted but it took 2 months, but i wasted too much time trying to sort it nicely and just kept being fobbed off with the, he's in a meeting phone calls. Until i got my solictor involved they just took the p**s, it took threats of court action, trading standards etc before they came clean.
  16. Hi far, I had a look last night for any info regarding warranties but afraid i drew a blank. Must have gone in the bin sometime ago.
  17. Sorry to here about your probs with WM. There only 5 mins down the rd from me, but they would be the last place on earth i'd buy wheels from. I went there to get wheels for my car and basicly there attitude sucks, they really dont give a shit and will sell you just about anything, they tried to get me to buy some 5 spoke 19" split rims, which didnt look bad but required spacers and on closer inspection they weren't split rims they were just studs glued into a 1 piece rim, they were also the wrong widths. They dont seem to know bugger all about offsets and the correct widths front n rear, which amazingly they seem to get away with. Luckily for me there attitude was enough to put me off buying anything from them and walked out there shop thinking what a bunch of D**KH***S As the guys here say get a FULL REFUND dont go for letting them mod the wheels, not a good idea in my opinion.
  18. Well fingers crossed for you m8, hope your supra is the dogs and lasts the tests of time. So when are you organising a supra meet in Redhill ??? im always available for free beer:D
  19. Sorry no pickies of mine but have a look at the suprastore.com site in the USA. You cant miss it, its bright orange. Just look for the Fast & Furious car. There aren't many urethene kits around for the mk4, think you can count them on one hand. Mine was unrepairable and i only nudged a grass bank quite gently.
  20. I'll see if i can dig out the details but it was a while ago and my memory sucks. What about asking the dealer your buying it off if they do one thats worth having. You never know !!!!! You could also enquire if the warranty is void if you fit an exhaust or other simple mods. I dont think you'll find many companies will give you cover if youve seriously modded it to death, bit like insurance really the bigger the mods the more the premium. But if you dont ask you never know.
  21. What about the FnF front bumper, i had one on my car looked v nice not too bad a fit and was approx £500. Most front bumpers are not very tough though there nearly all fibreglass and a little nudge in the wrong place and they just disintergrate as i found out.
