  1. I work from home Friday's so I might go a long and take a look. Any clues as to who has organised it?
  2. As long as I can either see my car or know it's parked somewhere safe, I'm not bothered where we go.
  3. Like we'd ever suggest such a thing!
  4. I had one to. Corrosponded to a sudden drop in intake tempreature on mine. Must have been a sudden cold gust of wind.
  5. Ouzolover = Gerry & Sue, so you were half right!
  6. She'll have a hard job as I've nearly eaten them all!
  7. AFR would be Air to Fuel Ratio, so the higher the figure the more air in the mixture. My dyno results had the following... RPM = AFR 2000 = 14.9 2500 = 14.0 3000 = 13.5 3500 = 13.0 4000 = 11.4 4500 = 11.0 5000 = 10.8 5500 = 10.6 6000 = 10.8 6500 = 11.3 6800 = 10.8 Does this sound ok?
  8. Good weekend in all, especially the food at the hotel hey Mark! Would have liked to run my car but by the time I got back from the dyno I couldn't be bothered, the queue was massive and then they closed it anyway. Not too happy about the parking, if you see the few photos I've done here (very few for me in fact, I just wasn't in a photo taking mood) you'll see what we are all on about. At least we attracted a lot of attention, even if it was because we bloked most of the road and we had our very own "How to break into a Supra" demonstration! Hopefully next year POD will make a better effort... and hopefully they'll move the event to a bit earlier in the year as the cold seemed to be bothering a lot of people. Oh, and cheers to millhouse for videoing my dyno run... it will be interesting to see/hear that again! VRROOOOMMMMMM..... PPIISSTTT!
  9. Basically getting into and parking at POD isn't a big problem. There may be queues but they are always moving at a reasonable rate. The problem comes with queueing to actually register yourself to do runs down the strip. Now that's where it's a slow painful process and lots of hanging around.
  10. Too early for detailed information yet, bet I'm going and I'll be leaving from Stubbington so you can follow me.
  11. Someones gonna get a slap tomorrow!
  12. Argh! You're just teasing us! Get it uploaded man!
  13. Looking at the leafet your correct. Maybe they're trying to speed things up as normally you have to park up and go to the building on the very far right to get your pre-paid ticket which caused laods of confussion and congestion.
  14. I think there's 6 lanes now. The one one the far right is always for outcomming traffic, but then there's 5 others to chose from if they are manned. The one on the far left doesn't look like one but it is, you basically have to drive on the grass to get to it.
  15. That's why your supposed to put your reg on it. However, I agree it would make much more sense for the sticker to have stuck to the inside of the glass, especially as these are just inkjet printed and will run with the slightest hint of rain or the first sticky finger poked up against it. I'm intending to stick mine to the sun visor somehow so it shows through the glass. I'm definitely not leaving it on the outside.
  16. There's a space on the sticker for reg number, so why not get the ten remaining people to PM you thre reg number and then leave the stickers at the gate if POD will agree to hand them out? Of course, relies on POD being willing to co-operate. Or, if Pete is willing to help out, we could leave the stickers with him as people have to drive past his dyno before they reach the secure area where the stickers will be required. Maybe he'd be kind enough to look after the last ten until people come to collect them?
  17. No one did, so here it is. Angel Inn 188 Ringwood Rd Ferndown BH22 9AP 01202 873778 Multimap
  18. Don't worry. I organised the last meet there as part of the Gumball so I'll draw up a map if someone else doesn't beat me to it.
  19. We can decide that closer to the time, but it will probably be one the services along the M27.
  20. Nope, I want to set a new record of 16mph this time!
  21. Jive, millhouse and myself will be comming from the Southampton direction so you can follow us.... that's if you want to.
  22. I've got some serious car cleaning to do so I wasn't intending to leave before 1 anyway. 2 o'clock should be fine... even better if we can be on the M3 around 2 as I want to make the most of the hotels facilities when we get there.
