  1. Not yet. The thing has been layed up for two years and the piston is rusty. I suspect that if I move it too much it'll just tear the seal and I'll end up having to replace/refurb it anyway. Thanks for looking.
  2. Also interested in the diamond cut blanks.
  3. One of the sliding pins was siezed, so I unstickied that but then found the piston itself was also siezed.
  4. I just want to add... ..oh, never mind.
  5. Unfortunately I don't have the time to research the conspiracy theories, and without doing so I don't feel suitably informed to decide if they are as good as fact, possible, or damn right nonsense. Thanks for the compliment though.
  6. I picked the lamb example because I've spent quite a lot of time watching their behaviour over the last few months whilst my wife feeds the orphans...
  7. A public forum is just as accountable as any other written form under the jurisdiction of common law regarding libel.
  8. Oh I agree with you, but the scale of affect is unrelated to the common cause; dominance. Without it one could argue that we would never have survived (theory of evolution and natural selection), but ironically with it we are unlikely to ever live side by side peacefully with all our fellow Homo sapiens. So how to fix it without releasing euphoria inducing drugs into the atmosphere? Accept the fact that we are not destined to be 'one' people any time soon and just get on with life. If you agree with someone else's views, or tastes, or share something common like driving a Supra, then join them. If not, leave them alone. Simple really.
  9. I totally agree. My view is - let's not worry about it; just live our lives as 'good' people simply because we want to rather then trying to get into a heavenly place or being fearful of a vengeful god, and then worry about what happens next when it happens. If I'm right then I would have had a content life without fearing the afterlife... if I'm wrong I'll probably be forced to spend the rest of eternity moderating the afterlife Supra forum's off topic section.
  10. Would that not include Charles himself then, who documented his belief in evolution as a theory? A theory is, by definition, a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained, and therefore not a truth. Until such a time as someone invents a time machine, or we are visited by aliens who have actually been recording our worlds history as part of a Truman style show, we will never know whether we just happened to be or whether some other higher being created us.
  11. They are both related, so either both are stupid or neither. All religions believe they are the religion and want to dominate, all governments want to be the most powerful and dominate the world, all gangs want to be the most feared and dominate their areas, all football teams want to be the 'best' and dominate the leader boards, all little baby lambs want to get the most food from it's mother so it can be stronger and dominate the other lambs..... have I made my point? Unless the whole world enters a state of euphoria, this will never end. It's human nature... well actually just nature.
  12. No, I do not believe that all people who believe in a religion are just following like sheep, with a sheer lack of basic intelligence. Similarly though, I also don't imagine that all members of the EDL are either, even despite the video evidence to the contrary.
  13. There was no allusion, you stated... ...so notwithstanding someone reading the post over your shoulder and proclaiming "I'm offended by that post!", I think it was fair of me to come to the conclusion that I had offended you. I didn't say it wasn't an opinion, I said it wasn't necessarily my opinion. All I wanted to do was put across a view point that someone may have with regards to a particular comment made. I did that, there have been a couple of good posts debating it, that's it.
  14. I took great care to ensure that my post was not expressed as my opinion nor a statement of fact. If you are offended by me pointing out what someone else may believe then this is not the thread for you.
  15. It is not true that most religious texts have their origins pre-dating written text, and therefore were originally passed down from generation to generation as word of mouth, which one could argue is not too dissimilar to Chinese whispers. I agree with you're trying to say, but unfortunately the distinction between faith-in-good and believing in hatred can easily become muddied for someone if they are subjected to an influence which is able to justify the hatred in some way. Whether that be because of an extremist's interpretation of a religion causing people to blow themselves up in the name of a God, or due to the media constantly reporting on Muslim terrorists instead of just terrorists (who happen to consider themselves as Muslims) resulting in organisations demanding these "people" go back to their own country.
  16. But if faith is acceptable when applied to believing in a religious text, what's so wrong with people having faith in the media to report facts correctly? And if what the media report about extremists results in people believing that all Muslims are terrorists, why should they be considered as having a lack of basic intelligence? Now I would class what you've just described as having faith, otherwise God could not be challenging you to produce work which matches his. I should point out I'm not trying to belittle anyone beliefs, faiths, justify extremists or make an excuse for people who blindly believe what they are being told. I just think that linking people who follow like sheep with a basic lack of intelligence is a little naughty given, from my own observations over the years, that is really what believing in a religion requires you to do in one way or another.
  17. One could argue that that is the basic requirement for all religions; although most people choosing to believe in a religion would call it faith.
  18. That video is 8 years old. She may have changed since then. Agreed. If I'm not mistaken, your little over take was also caught on camera! (1:40+) I do remember watching from the front of the convoy and hearing "It's wasn't me!" as she continued to rant at you.
  19. All the videos have been migrated to YouTube. If you have a video you'd like added to the clubs collection then let me know.

    Fraud

As someone who works in the field of card encryption.... this isn't that scary.
  21. This video went MIA years ago when Google banned it due to the sound track. Thankfully the "Move to YouTube" process has actually restored it. I liked that years Gumball. It's a shame we didn't get a video of the West side as that was a really fun drive. I'll have to revive this event once I get my car back on the road.
