Over the years, the Harewood Vintage and Classic Vehicle Rally, which returns to Harewood House this year on Sunday 15th June, has become one of the most popular events for motoring enthusiasts in the North of England.
This is a family event in every sense of the word, where visitors can steep themselves in the nostalgia of classic cars cleaned and polished to perfection by enthusiastic owners, also see the very latest models to have come off the manufacturer’s production lines.
As ever the House and grounds will be open, with the Adventure Playground, Bird Garden and the added bonus of the Yorkshire Planetarium to visit and enjoy.
This year’s event, which is brought to Harewood in association with Richard Alexander Limited Group, will attract a wide range of vehicles from across the years. Throughout the day there will be lots of activity taking place in the Parade arena, culminating with the awards presentation for the vehicles deemed best by the judges in each class.
A real highlight will be the rare opportunity to enjoy the thrills and skills of the much sought after Bolddog FMX Freestyle Motorcycle Display Team. For the adventurous there will be an Army Climbing Wall to attempt, youngsters can enjoy themselves at the mini fun fair and there will be a Food Court and also a selection of Retail stands to browse around.
With expected attendance of over 10,000 people, the Harewood House Motor Show is the event for your diaries in 2008.
