Chris Wilson
I have just finished my Tial wastegate to HKS manifold adaptor, I wanted it to act as a heat sink and radiator, to keep some heat away form th wastegate adaptor to manifold junction, where warpage can occur. All stainless, I think it looks OK? Also some pics of the carbon doors for my R33 GTS, these are 2.2 kilos each, and will take all stock fittings, although I will use plastic windows, and no winding mechanisms to save weight. I have had them a while but not fitting them until the car has a cage in it. Some pics of Pete Sharps new pistons ready to install crept in. http://www.chriswilson.tv/new_stuff/new_stuff.html
JustGav
Some really nice looking bits there sir... Quick hijack of your knowledge.. Clevite 77 bearings? are they worthwhile using on something as basic as an a-series engine.
RobSheffield
Will the adaptor fit on a BL manifold to Tial waastegate, or is it skyline specific? I guess it will fit the BL as its a 4 bolt and iirc is an HKS copy...
Chris Wilson
No, it's specific to this cast manifold, I machined a recess in the manifold to the adaptor fits on with a spigot, to stop hot gasses burning the gasket edge, another problem with turbos, and why the stock Toyota ones seal on rings in recessed grooves. Not sure what material these Clevite ones are. Nice to use, a bit dearer than stock ones though.
