Car has big brakes (UK spec 4 pot front / 2 pot rear), electrically folding wing mirrors, a spanking condition Chris-Wilson sidemount intercooler, bilstein shocks, facelift car so facelift dash, lights, bumper bar etc. Volk GT-AV 18" rims 10" rears, choice of either stock exhaust or Greddy / Trust Power-Evo II full stainless system, S.P.A digital boost gauge fitted in place of stock facelift boost gauge (stealth install.. nice), Clarion DXZ-928R CD/Radio, dolby pro logic, 2x Blaupunkt THA-280 amps under the seats, Focal K2 Power 165K2P components up front. Shitty Infinity speakers in rear that *really* need swapping, but I stole the Focal woofers for my Civic. Limited slip differential Car has recently (2 months ago) had cam belt change and full valve stem seal replacement. Car had all four drop links replaced while the shockers were swapped for the bilsteins, about 3 months ago. Car has an Autosport Wiring Harness (Field's Harness) installed, for easy installation of modifications. Car is delimited, and also has a Thor FCD fitted. Currently needs the TPS swapping to fix intermittant idling problem. I'll fix that once I get hold of a replacement TPS, or I'll knock down price. Wheels are a bit kerbed. Headlights could do with a polish now, not clean like they are in the pics. Calipers are now red. 126k genuine miles. Drives like new, looks great. These normally go for between £20 and £70. It's only a bit damaged, but still.. I'll knock off £200 for that as is, or I'll replace the door card as one comes available for sale. Volks have two sets of locking nuts on them. Car can come with both stock and Greddy exhaust, not just either but both. LOL No, parts of the "crate" (big wooden pallet box thing) that my new LS2 / T56 engine & gearbox arrived in. I should really have hammered those nails in first My Civic has that much shit in it - day to day work gear, crap that I should have took out of the boot (laser printers, battery booster/starter thing, computers, wires, keyboard), which is why I took the Supra instead. carl0s Posted August 23, 2009 Author Share Posted August 23, 2009 Obviously with hindsight, I shouldn't have bought the LS2/T56 and rest of the RX7 kit, but hindsight is a wonderful thing and I still have the leased Civic diesel for another 18 months, by which time the RX7 might be ready to fill in as an interim car whilst I decide on another daily drive. The Supra was my daily drive up until 18 months ago when I got the Civic diesel. The missus has been using the Supra since then, and she works two miles away from home. It's had a very gentle life this past 18 months. Boost is running at 13psi, so basically stock, due to the stock exhaust because I got sick of her waking me up in the mornings (I sleep with the bedroom window open). With the Trust / Greddy exhaust it will see ~15psi normally, and ~17psi in high gears & cold weather. So only lightly modified. More power is available via adjusting the restrictor ring (car is fully decatted), or fitting an electronic boost controller (I'd have liked to do this, to have full max boost regardless of high/low gear (engine load) and air temp). The radiator is a spanky facelift aluminium one, not a grotty brass pre-facelift one. Shockers are high end Bilstein. Limited slip diff Facelift niceness interior, plus late spec (98+) style steering wheel. Walbro fuel pump (forgot that one). Field's harness Expensive rims Valve stem seals have just been done. This is an expensive (£1,000) job that nearly all Supras are needing now, else they smoke on startup and burn oil, or just burn oil (sometimes cars that haven't been decatted won't show the smoke so much, but still burn oil). So, buy this and don't need to spend loads of money, or take a chance on another and have intercooler replacement and valve stem seals on your mind for the next couple of years. Did I mention the cam belt was done at the same time as the valve stem seals? It was anyway. I still haven't paid the garage mind you! (it's OK.. Camera doesn't do car any favours, and our inclined driveway doesn't provide a great stance either. Also, any pictures of the interior when cleaned? Hi mate sorry for not coming back to you yet. I'll take a butt shot tomorrow (I'll try anyway!). I'm going to drive the Supra for the next week or two now to finally nail this idling problem. I have an idea it might just be the Thor FCD that's causing it. There's no stuck-on fog light. It has a proper fog light conversion that I don't think is working properly (!) My MOT man is friendly .. Oh yeah, the car is fully decatted On my last car, I simply painted the right-hand reverse bulb red and moved a wire across, giving a legal fog light but only one reverse light.
