JohnnyW
Well it's been a bit of an eye opener working on the Supra tonight, not in a good way. Bought jayssupra's Miami GT SMIC this week so in preperation for it's arrival I thought I'd make a start and remove the old SMIC. So got to work tonight and removed the bumper and came across a pretty horrendous sight. Basically I didn't have a stock SMIC sitting there I had this piece of sh!te: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/SMIC/SMIC1.jpg http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/SMIC/SMIC2.jpg I've no idea what type it is (maybe a MKIII Supra?) to make matters worse it was basically held on there by the pipes and a cable tie!!! Whoever did this also made up this pikey pipe to make it fit: http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/SMIC/Pipe.jpg I'm really annoyed I never checked out the state of the SMIC before. I only ever looked at it through the air vent in the bumper to see what condition the fins were in. I really hope my car's not been damaged by running this. Going to have to source some stock SMIC brackets and ducting now I'd really like to meet the "mechanic" that did this work, I'd find somewhere to stick his pikey pipe. hadyn
Is that a nissan SMIC? Seen on 200SXs and non GTR Skylines?? You might see a big improvement in power and response when a proper cooler goes on mate..

AndyT
Gonna be an easy 15 bhp improvement there mate. Now you know you have to change it. Agreed. The mech who did that needs reaming.

hadyn
It looks very thin, I wonder if it could cope with stock power levels when new, let alone in a rotten state!
