Jezz
Anyone ever heard of a supra with GT4 st205 Brakes on? Just happened to notice they have the 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears, so I test fitted them to a UK supra and they fit!
Gaz Walker
The pads are the same too, but the discs are different. Gaz.

Kranz
So they're exactly the same as Uk spec calipers????

Pcd is different but AFAIK they were the same size as UK's? So if i purchased a set of UK discs from your good selves, i'd have a set of Uk brakes that say 'celica' on the calipers? I had the same thought today jez - the celica gt4 calipers look very very similar to the supra uk ones have you tested them yet to see if theyre any good on a supe? Ya. Fit perfectly, mounts exactly the same, just says Celica on the caliper, so i'll be getting the grinder out.
ChrisSZ
Hmm, hold your horses mate!!! I tried this ages ago - putting st205 callipers (picked them up for £150) onto my J-spec Supe and they definitely DID NOT FIT!! I'm fairly sure that the top hat dimensions (the depth of the mounting bell) is different, therefore the callipers will not line up and the mounting holes, although lining up, are threaded as they fit on the opposite side of the lugs (outside the lugs rather than in front of - or vice versa). tDR
Yeah, I was thinking we already had a similar conversation which ended in evidence to say they wouldn't fit. IIRC ST205 GT4 discs are 315mm rather than UK spec 323mm discs. Cheers, Brian.
ChrisSZ
I'll try to find my old post about it Here it is http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=64419&highlight=gt4
colsoop
Another possible source for 4 pot calipers was one of the lexus, scXX (4x4 ?) something like that anyway i think , somebody mentioned it before.

Strange. I actually had these bolted on! Dont know what your issues were Chris?! The bolts lined up perfectly, as did the caliper in relation to the disc. Yeah, I was thinking we already had a similar conversation which ended in evidence to say they wouldn't fit. IIRC ST205 GT4 discs are 315mm rather than UK spec 323mm discs. Cheers, Brian. Thats the only thing i need to check. The car i mounted them to earlier is j-spec, and you can see from the pic i posted a while ago the disc is slightly too small (j-spec).
