paul mac
mine has allways made a bit of belt "noise", there is very little to go wrong with an aux tensioner (manual or auto) i replaced a bearing in mine some years ago (just cos they were free from work) i would get a second hand one if you have any doubts but i would think it more likely to be one of the ancilarys air con, PS, water pump, alternator if it is very noisy, maybe go to a meet and compare with other cars
bignum
150 is about right.

paul mac
Can you just replace the bearing coz this would be great if you can . is it an easy job to do and does anyone know what size the bearing is what numbers are on the bearing . not 100% sure if the N/A is the same as the TT but the bearing for mine was a 6203 ZZ, the ZZ indicates extra clearance for the heat which i dont think is strictly necesary, toyota will not sell the bearing on its own but if you ring round the local specialists they will be able to get one for you, its been on my car now 6 years, if you take the pulley off you should be able to see if the bearing is shot or not
RedM
I've got one here that just needs a new pulley wheel thingy.
Matt _Aero top_
think i'm needing one ASAP theres a shop neer me in sheffield called city seals and bearings so sourcing one should be no problem . RedM can't i just use my old pulley thingy and press the new bearing in . Or are you hinting you got one for sale . and is it new ?
RedM
I bought a new one. Ended up having just the wheel bit replaced. It did the job. I now have a very heavy paperweight that needs a new wheel that Toyota don't sell separately.
Matt _Aero top_
Sorry mate i'm struggling to understand what you mean as i can't picture it in my head as i've never had one of these apart , but i think i'm needing a new bearing , maybe i should take it off this weekend and investigate it . maybe try regreasing it make sure its not running dry . Its a horrible sound its making , like a cracking sound when a bearings failed if you know what sound i'm talking about ?
Kev.O
I was talk that you can repress the bearing aslong as it's the metal wheel. CW done mine for me
